Is Poetry Dead? Not Quite, Thanks to Poets House
I love this article from NYTimes.com (Arts). As a poet myself, I never think that poetry is dead. Has it evolved? Yes, definitely, but it’s still relevant and we hear it everyday in music, hip hop, and in my opinion, jazz is poetry. But thanks to places like Poets House in Manhattan and other poetry centers, groups, spoken word venues, and websites, poetry is being kept alive in many different ways.
